After our somewhat epic fail on Ony 10 last night, Jacten, myself and a few other members spoke about what we lacked/needed to succeed. Firstly I would like to propose that we go into every raid with a professional attitude. This does not mean that we are so serious that vent is clear and each time one makes a mistake they are penalized. But, that each person in the raid knows ALL ASPECTS of the fights we are going into for the raid. Tankspot will show you everything you need to know about every fight and it is well worth the time.

Secondly, every person in the raid group should be appropriately geared for the raid we are attempting. For example someone in all greens and blues or only lvl 200 items should not expect or throw a fit about not being able to go into 10 ToC with the guild. Jacten has made it VERY clear that all attempts are being made to reach out to every person in the guild regardless of skill/gear level. We are all in this guild and everyone should be willing to help each member get to the same level so we can eventually all progress together.

Thirdly, if you sign up for a raid please show up... There is always an occasional real life issue that comes up and that is completely understandable but we are not going to get anywhere if we always have to pug someone to be able to raid. the 10 some core raiders in the progression group and the 10 some in the gearing group need to meet and set times that work for everyone so we can learn to play together.

Finally, on that note, everyone needs to realize it takes time to progress. We are not going to clear everything on our first attempt but as time passes we will work better together and start getting into the higher end raids. The people I spoke with today from the guild and myself have very high expectations for all the members. We plan on starting 10 ToC in the next few weeks and having farm status on Uld/ony/ToC in the next few months! We also need to have fun because this is just a game!

Sounds very good, and very reasonable. I look forward to working with you guys and getting this going. I don't have a lot of raiding experience but I do have a lot of time on my hands, and I'll be there for you as much as you can. Not only in a raiding sense, but if you guys never need me to help out with anything at all pertaining to the guild let me know, I'm more than willing to contribute whatever I can. You guys have been awesome to me so far and I take care of those that take care of me. I'm glad to be aboard.
